3 VPN to avoid getting caught while downloading torrent files

Each VPN company is distinct from one another yet similar in basic functions i.e. to encrypt data and to hide IP. What makes VPN companies separate and better from one another are exclusive features.

Basic Features That A VPN Service MUST Provide

1. Conform to the Zero Log policy and does not keep a log of any internet activity performed by its users.
2. Provide the VPN industry standard 256-bit AES Encryption.
3. Offer VPN industry standard PPTP, L2TP-IPsec, and OpenVPN Security Protocols.
4. Offer unlimited bandwidth and speed.
5. Ideally outside of US, UK, Australia, Canada jurisdiction.
6. Connectivity of single account on at least 3 devices.
7. Internet Kill Switch (Network Lock)
But No FREE CAN provide these features if you don’t pay them money! Least they can do is sell your private information to advertisement firms to collect the expense they bear regarding server cost.

Some Safe Torrent VPN review:

NordVPN (Location – Panama)

I personally use NordVPN because of its strong security. The fact that it offers 2048-bit SSL encryption with the latest IKEv2 security protocol made me choose the service over other.

Just so you know, IKEv2/IPsec (Internet Key Exchange) is the latest protocol technology that monitors the change in network behavior and adapts to the changes instead of crashing the VPN connection.

Anyway, I liked how they categorized their servers into standard, dedicated, P2P, Streaming (especially for channels like Hulu & Netflix that actually works), and double VPN (i.e. Tor-on-VPN and VPN-over-VPN) which provides a double layer of security.

While the company allows 6 devices to connect to a single account, I was able to easily set up my Nvidia Shield TV, Android, iPhone, and Laptop with the same login credentials.

Since the VPN company is based in Panama, they are far away from the legislation liabilities of the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and other countries.

Exclusive Features: DoubleVPN | IKEv2 Protocol | DNS Leak Resolver

NordVPN is on extended New Year Sale. You can have 2 years of subscription for a price of one year

My opinion: If you want a service (especially for security) then NordVPN is the best VPN provider in the VPN industry that offers exclusive features such as DoubleVPN.

PureVPN (Location – Hong Kong)

I used PureVPN a year back and loved it’s diverse features. They have SSL-secured servers which are secured with 256-bit AES encryption and a long list of security protocol (OpenVPN, SSTP, PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, IKEv2).

Just so you know, Split Tunneling is a feature that separates your internet traffic into VPN and non-VPN categories to help you use the internet effectively.

Virtual Router is an application-based router. Your VPN client software act as a hotspot router and allows devices with WiFi capability to connect to it.

While the company allows 5 devices under a single account. I was able to connect all my daily routine devices on it easily.
The fact that they are based in Hong Kong, they are not liable to follow jurisdiction of other countries. Try using their Chrome extension ‘Bad Ad Johnny’ for ad blocking, stopping malware, and prevent trackers.

Exclusive Features: DDoS protection | Split Tunneling | Virtual Router | Adblock Chrome Extension

PureVPN is on extended New Year Sale. You can have 2 years of subscription at the price of one year.

My opinion: If you want a service (especially for travel) PureVPN will not disappoint you because it has servers in 141 countries which is pretty much amazing!

Private Internet Access (Location – United States)

Although I have not used Private Internet Access, I have heard the mix views from the people. First of all, the VPN is owned by London Media Trust which is based in Los Angeles, California so one can expect that they are bound to follow US legislation.

Now coming back to my point, the service is pretty much basic and has a large customer base because of two reasons mainly. Number one, affordable prices. Number two, thousands of servers like more than 3k. The VPN service has a built-in ad blocker/ malware blocker / and tracker blocker. The company allows connecting 5 devices under a single account.

The VPN encrypts your internet traffic with 256-bit AES encryption and supports security protocol including OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP, IPsec.

Exclusive Features: 3k+ servers | Built-in Adblocker

My opinion: If you are a casual VPN user and use it to bypass the internet restrictions occasionally then Private Internet Access is the best VPN service for you!
